A PLANNING application has now been lodged to install a sculpture celebrating 100 years since the six town's came Montblanc Watches together to make up Stoke-on-Trent.
The sculpture will stand on the Staffordshire blue brick forecourt to the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
The proposal is for a twometre high hexagonal stainless steel column supporting two three-metre figures.
The Pounds 135,000 sculpture called Light Source was voted for by hundreds of residents out of a choice of four designs.
Boxs FakeThe planning application to Stoke-on-Trent City Council states: "Inside the pillar will be a time capsule holding six objects chosen Fake Diesel Watches by young people from the city's six towns."
A decision is due by September with the artwork installed the following month.
