PERSONAL experience is the key factor for many when it comes to buying a used car.
Some 38 per cent of drivers relied on their own knowledge of the vehicle Fake Porsche Design when it came to doing a deal, research by British Car Auctions (BCA) revealed.
"If personal experience isn't pushing you towards one car or another, it seems we talk to family and friends," said BCA spokesman Tim Naylor.
"This makes a lot of sense. After all, these are the people more likely to be driven in your used car.
"The advice of our nearest and dearest was seen as more important than the third most valued source of information, a test drive."
"Another growing area of influence is the Gucci Bracelet internet. There are plenty of consumer advice, car forums replica breitling watches and product recommendation sites, which make it the fourth most influential factor."
Mr Naylor said 17 per cent of drivers said the web influenced their choice of used car. He said: "To put that in perspective, the figure was 10 per cent two years earlier.
"Just 6 per cent in our poll said programmes such as Top Gear and Driven influenced the choice of used car. But even that figure was higher than that quoted for car TV advertisements, with 5 per cent saying these influenced choice."
